So who was the genius who decided it was a good idea to hold a hearing at which a bunch of crusty old men got to opine about how birth control is stealing their religious freedom? Even the title of the hearing: “Lines Crossed: Separation of Church and State. Has the Obama Administration Trampled on Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Conscience?” … Denotes the kind of weird hyperventilation over the fact of women’s sexuality that could only be made worse by not having a single woman on the panel. That way no one could mistake who the right wants to be in charge when it comes to women’s reproduction, or who is currently in charge of religion.
